As a veteran of the U. S. Army let me just say that Delta Force is SUPER. So is DEVGRU but as a former Army guy I prefer Delta. Wish I could have been in an elite unit like this.

There's probably about 95% overlap between Delta Force and DEVGRU in terms of skill level and capability (counterterrorism and hostage rescue). DEVGRU is better trained for maritime operations while Delta Force is better at land operations. Delta probably has the best land navigators in the military.
