@mhaze210 Then don't work in LABOR. People with talent are, and have always been, paid more than the average grunt. If you have a talent, sell it. Profit from it. Otherwise, don't complain. Also keep in mind that a lot of the time writers are out of work so what they make has to last until the next time they find a gig, which from what i understand can be a while.

@Ihavealife100 I agree...Carlyle spoke the truth. Coming from a writer's pov (him)...it made me not feel like the ONLY one who thinks this strike became senseless and pretty stupid. Maybe if a writer gets totally screwed on their work then hellyeah I'll feel bad, because someone else is profiting off of their work. This video though is dumb as hell. AWWW you want more money because the shit load of money your making isnt enough? What they get in a week, I dont get in 2 full months of LABOR!

@xmido your not the only one. until I found this video,nothing I found gave me anything even close to a clear answer of what was going on. All it was were just how TV shows were being affected,even though I just wanted to know WHY there was a strike in the first place. you'd think it wouldn't be hard to explain. I can't stand TV/movie/Comics/etc. executives. they're crooked,corrupt,greedy and are constantly shitting all over the creative process.
