@Halvorson yes, but the 1911 is legal in all states
TheSonorama21 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
@Halvorson
Because gun laws differ greatly from state-to-state.

@TheSonorama21 thanks, but why does the state matter? seems like a suspicious question lol

@jonhomemade I had a mad magazine when I first got this pistol, it seemed to help by seating the rounds as far back in the magazine as possible. For the PMR, because it shoots a rimmed cartridge, If you don't seat the bullets back in the magazine its possible to get rimlock (something i don't have to worry about with my 1911). Rimlock is when the rim from the cartridge on top is behind the rim from the cartridge below it preventing it to move forward and chamber.

This maybe a stupid question, but what is the reason behind tapping the magazine? Even in the manual for my Kel-tec PMR-30 it recommends to tap the magazine every few rounds while loading, I just assume it was to make all 30 rounds fit, since I hear some complaints of people not being able to fit all 30, which I have never had that problem. I just seen you tap the mag before putting it into the firearm and was curious if there was any purpose behind it..

@XGunzAlexX go to a gun shop, I think some walmarts even have firearms, used to anyway. |
